Ugh great. Seems that my exchange is congested, or there's some fault on my life. Peak hours sees my ping increase by 100 ms both local and international. As soon as things quiet down again (like now), pings return to normal...

I would like to hear how OW explain two ip's for a single account... a router with a split personality I guess...

I think that more or less most OW accounts are shared. sharks.

Yup, and that MyBB hasn't picked this up for an article yet ofcourse speaks volumes.

I'm so fed with with these guys. Have had quite a few issues with them already, mostly with my speed always being horrendously slow. Yesterday I was at home during the day and I have a 2mb Gold Uncapped account and I couldn't even open websites or download a simple 2mb file without it failing every time. Only from from around 8-9pm to 5am in the morning I get anything usable. The rest of the time it's just pathetic. I messaged cableguy just after 10am yesterday and still didn't even get any feedback.

This was a Tracert I ran yesterday morning.

I signed up for a capped account. Are these said issues largely around uncapped accounts?

They are around OpenWeb as a whole. A company who has gone radio silent since questions of their ethics. Speaks for itself.

What's the easiest way to cancel an Openweb account and how does their cancellation policy work? I think it's time....

Awesome stuff. Check my banking online this morning to see that I was debited again by openweb. Even though I cancelled on the 22nd of April already. Send them an email to ask WTF. Get a reply from them where they say that I requested to have my account cancellation cancelled, as I still want to use the service. Someone with a name like mine, spelt differently.

Funny thing is, my cancellation ticket number was there in the email I sent to them. The email they sent back to me had a completely different cancellation ticket number they used as a reference for that cancellation.

So in the end, they've gone and cancelled someone's service, who didn't want it cancelled anymore, and they've kept my service active, even though I don't want it anymore.

The circus is still in town I guess.

I know these kinds of mistakes happen, but geez, it is hilarious. Just give me my money back please, I've moved on, I'm happy. It's like an ex that comes to visit you after a month. I'm not interested, please just leave me alone.

UPDATE : I got my refund already. Luckily didn't take to long for them to sort out the mistake.
