OpenWeb ADSL Feedback Thread (Pt2)

Anyone know how to reset the login password on the openweb site? Need to send @MrBEEP my username, but I've had so many, literally can't remember which is the current active one.

Should I just go via support?

I have for the first time ever watched YouTube in full HD. I always knew that option was there, but I could barely stream 360p. Telkom have finally come to the party...

I fear my 100gigs is not really sufficient any longer...:o

Those sync rates don't look right.

My 4mb syncs at 4096 512.

Edit: click on the "Click to login to older CP" thingy and then you'll see an option to reset your password.

Ok. So here is my review for Openweb.

I contacted them on the weekend asking if I may test their 6mb gold uncapped service. They promptly replied with a trial account.
After setting the account up on the router and restarting it, speedtest indicated I was getting 6mb download and .4mb upload.

Problems that I experienced. My line wasnt synced with telkom, causing intense fluctuation in download speeds, at times it dropped to .5mb download.

After sorting that problem out, my line stayed at a steady 5.2mb download speed (reason being, my telephone line hasnt been upgraded but the exchange has).

I give Openweb a 10/10 for their quality, service and of coarse, their fantastic customer support.

Sadly at this moment of time, I can not upgrade to a fully paid account because many of us generator owners realized today, that our geni's dont seem to work. Meaning we have to cough up a truck load of cash to fix the generator so that we can surive this load shedding period.

Openweb, thanks for the fantastic service, I will be crossing over from Mweb to your service as soon as possible.

On more pressing issues, TITANFALL cancelled in SA, is the worst possible news I could've read on a Friday morning.

Best game in like forever and we miss out cause we on the ass end of the world living in the stone age
