I will comment in here where relevant.
I am biding my time now, I want to see which ISP will work for me. I have some friends fortunately, one is trying out Afrihost, the other is trying Axxess.

All I will say is, they ARE shared accounts... Since going to OW my e-mail accounts, regardless of where, have been spammed far more than ever before.

I wish I had done this! Should have asked to be downgraded to a 10gb capped account at R49pm and then submitted my cancellation.

Now I have to pay for another month of useless gold uncapped. Oh well...
 
I've sent a link to this thread to rpm, he said he will look into this account sharing. I'm not getting my hopes up that anything will come from this, but maybe someone will actually realize all the fraud that is going on here.

Where's the link between shared ADSL accounts and spam mail?
 
I am also curious now,

My account name assigned to me is ****@openweb.co.za

Although my control panel still indicates a previous account name
****@openweb.co.za

@Cableguy, please reset my password to something other than ****. Most of my Openweb accounts have this password.

He posted his username and password for his adsl accounts. I'm trying to warn him not to do so, not only now, but as a rule of thumb. Kindly direct your attitude elsewhere if you're pissed off because my bite is far worse than your bark...

I believe both of them already have. Should they request there emails be forwarded to anybody specific? They've been dealing with a lady whose name is escaping me right now.
