Wow OpenWeb really are useless... I was also having the issues on my account where I just literally could not browse, it was at the point that images and sites weren't even loading at all. I contacted OpenWeb towards the end of last month and they gave me a trial account to use (which worked nicely) and then I reverted back to my usual account when they instructed. Then a few days later the same thing started to happen. I logged another ticket and they swapped me to the MTN backbone, now I'm getting 30KBs on my 4MB line.

Seriously typing up the cancellation email now.

Trial accounts =/= actual product. They are obviously highly prioritized [-]and of course no sharing[/-] to lure you in...

And at 07:10 my account is now downloading at 0Kbs. Might I just add too that this isn't an "Everyday Uncapped", this isn't a "Silver Uncapped", this is a "Gold Uncapped" account I'm on. Starting to believe what people say that this is just a sales scam.

Its the mom's boy in basement syndrome:

Some ISPs are still stuck in the thinking of an account can only be used by a single person. That person is someone who does not use it during the day and if usage it will be something like mails and Facebook. FAIL.

Of course "home" accounts is not geared for more than one person in the same home, you must take teh business account you abuser you :erm:

I had pondered spending the extra R300 to get business uncapped, however didn't want to do that and still get F'd in the A.

I would think the buttons are:

[add user to account] [remove selected user from account] [remove all users from account]

Here's the 411. Every single ISP will give you the same ****...so I'm thinking, beter the **** you know than figuring out a new ISP's BS.

Case in point: After working since 4 this morning, I can't get mail out to people in Aus I promised I will get to them before they close shop today. I called when OW opened @ 8. It is now 45 minutes later and my mail is still farked and they know it is urgent....no freaking response... So I sent it with my personal GMail acc.... Fark we look so professional....thank you OW for farkall.

But I won't move, I will stay and farking BITCH!!!

With my current ISP I know exactly what BS I'll get.

Great streaming @ 720p all day :)
Full speed NNTP using SSL and paid server :)
Poor torrents during biz hours - dont care since I hardly torrent
Throttled after 400GB :(

I know folks here will find it hard to believe but with some ISP's daytime browsing/downloading/streaming does actually work well during the day *GOLLY GOSH THE SHOCK THE HORROR*
 
My poor GF has a weeks leave, at home, Dota 2 has a 63mb update this morning and it says 5 hours remaining. :/ On a so called Gamers Account.

My new ISP was upfront with me before I even HAD AN ACCOUNT.
Now that's service. They even gave me timelines!
Be honest with me and I will be your customer for life. Try and screw me and I find out about it, I will be your worst enemy!

The same look on my face when I was able to upload attachments on GMail. OW made me look like a d00s in front of my customers. I had to explain to one customer "the e-mail is coming now" but the damn PDF files just won't upload, and GMail says "Oops your connection was interrupted"
