Openweb and complete disregard for customer service.

Hello,

I do apologize for my delayed response. I was away for the last 24 hours, and only had access to emails.

souljo, somewhere wires were crossed, and I apologize for this. Seems like we (me) misread your email as a cancellation. I had a word with Dane, and apparently, a cancellation threat was made by yourself, which he too took as a cancellation.

The best we can do is move forward. Please let us know how you would like to proceed so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

I apologize for any inconvenience caused. I have purchased a stronger coffee make so that I can read properly early in the mornings!

Kind regards
MrBEEP

Why is that the first thing negative posters blame people for when they make a reasonable request!!?

I work for my self sweetheart. Dont need to work for a boss.

on further thought ... it's quite interesting that you would mention the blog being removed. OW employee per chance?

My thoughts exactly, but this being my usual experience with OpenWeb support:

Makes me hesitant. I've always had excellent service like this from OpenWeb, and I doubt any of their employees would be such a douchebag like cableguy is. I think he's either just trolling, or he's really got some mental defect or health problem.

It's more likely that you were forced to work for yourself because you got fired due to your warped sense of how a company is run and how customer relations works.

Oh wow ... thank you so much! I really do feel a lot better and can definitely move forward after such a great apology.

It was really difficult to digest what was going wrong because posts like this apology is the kind of service I'm used to from OpenWeb, and a little communication does go a long way. I would love to remain an Openweb client and hope that we can avoid mixups in the future.

Thank you again for making the effort to address this and good luck with your coffee quest ^____^

P.S will also prepare a follow up blog, which I will equally publicise, about the resolution of the problem and the great response from MrBeep \:D/

Hi souljo,

Thank you. May I continue the account going forward? Also, if you have any further issues, please email me (you have my address).

Have a great weekend.

Kind regards

Yes please, if the account and debit order can remain active that would be amazing. I'm a creature of habit and the thought of changing ISPs had me breaking out in hives!

If someone phones a million times, emails two million, and bad mouths a company, does that company want to do business with that client? Isn't the answer obvious! And what makes you so special to believe that I do not have a right to give my opinion?
Cause and effect. It takes a bigger person to admit wrong and offer to continue the relationship - as MrBeep has (shot!).
I reckon this needed airing and will make the company realise the importance of customer relations considering how enlightened we are now with the interweb. References and word of mouth are vital.

Hear hear! I definitely feel that with the kind of dominant market share OpenWeb enjoys that they could easily have just let me move onto another provider and waited for this all to blow over. Really impressed and very glad to be proven wrong about their customer care.

It's a pity though that you had to go this route when the answer was so easy. Lay out the honey not the vinegar next time :D

He should have just ignored you.

Whats REALLY pathetic is someone who hangs out on a forum insulting people thinking they're above them... do I need to re-iterate... on an internet FORUM... the same internet forum you're posting on.

Pot...meet kettle.

That's really funny. I have made a mere 147 posts in over a year. You have close on 20 000. Clearly I don't "hang out" on this forum as unlike you I have a life.
I only insult people who insult me first so read the whole thread before you fart.

That life of yours seems rather intermittent.

Wow... And you call others pimply-faced teenagers?

That's quite the poetic irony right there.

If you had any logic it would defy belief.

Profound.

Oh no - you only have 149 posts, yet choose to 'contribute' to this thread, which is of utmost importance to the continuation of the internet... you must have such an amazing life to be on the internet on a Friday night at 21:00, are you sitting there wasting bandwidth on the F5 key in the hope someone responds to you?

P.S. I did read the whole thread with great amusement, noticing the usual fanboyism, and the opposing responses as always - and also knowing that any company can make a mistake - which Keoma has publicly apologized for.

I use Openweb and can't fault them - when I first read the blog I thought, correctly, it was a "miss-read" by Openweb.

Wow ! Now that's profound. If it weren't for this thread there'd be no internet ?
Your assumption that I am currently in the same time zone or country as you is also funny. You're funny.
