Openweb and online gaming question?

Hi there

Got a new ADSL line (4mb running on 5mb) and opted for Openweb budget 10GB unshaped for online gaming (just for now until neotel ends later this month).

Both the online game I play and the one my wife plays are totally unplayable with heavy lag and VOIP like Mumble and Vent sounds like robots and alot of stutter. Even the patchers you start the games with connects at 2kbps and cannot even download a 5mb patch.

Was this the wrong package choice for gaming?

Edit: i plan to take a Gold uncapped account in a couple of weeks. Will that work better?

Yeah, something isn't right with your line or something...

I'm on 384k and I can play WoW, have Vent open, Comedy Radio playing, and wife browsing on the netbook; All without any major issue whatsoever.

My WoW, even at that sort of load, still runs at 350ms latency.
