Must be, second time (in the few months I used openweb) the regular openrouter login was changed without warning the user in advance. Already pm Mr.Beep for new login.
As the weekend looms I am bracing myself for more disappointment with openbrowse. Please Mr Beep, if you are reading this please make sure downloading works from 6 this evening and that every1's account is reset so all openbrowse customers can have decent speeds.
Have the OpenBrowse issues been sorted out?
I was thinking of moving to the Founders special 3GB + 27 GB Local + OpenBrowse, but looking at all the problems it seems it might not be worth it.
If I do go for it, how exactly does it work?
After my 3GB's I can browse international in the week and download weekend international using OpenBrowse through the 27GB. That I understand, but now say for example I want to download something locally in the week, can I do that, would I still be able to use the 27GB local as it is? Then start the OpenBrowse service again to browse internationally?
I have just canceled my Openbrowse account, no thank you, I have more important things to do than to wait for some arb page to load, important things like watching grass grow.
What a waste this product is, the whole month it only worked a max of 5 days.
No thank you.
I hope we can get Seacom products soon. I am also on my WA bandwidth now, Openbrowse working at half of the speed when download this weekend, and even slower when browsing. There was a short period of time around 8-9pm Saturday night that the speed was normal but did not last very long.
I also cancelled my openbrowse account this weekend as it was just a waste of time and money. The past two weekends were a nightmare with downloading speeds of slower that a snail and this weekend ... no downloads was allowed - with every download site reading 'This site is prohibited by proxy'. Basically, for the month I had no downloads through openbrowse. No doubt the openbrowse concept is good maybe excellent, but if it doesn't work then its worth zilch.
