Hey Friends,

As we all know, IS have halted new IS ADSL signups for approximately the next two weeks.

This directly affects OpenWeb, as we exclusively resell IS accounts.

Thus, all new IS signups will be halted until further notice.

Once again, a business is at risk. Thank you Telkom.

Kind regards

But what about the

"“We are fortunate that Telkom has come to the party with 70 Mbps. If it hadn’t done so, it could have been a couple of weeks before we would be in a position to provide services to new customers again without compromising current customers,” said Suchard. As a result, IS has decided it will be able to commence provisioning to new customers again."

statement?

What I don’t understand is the current users of IS are complaining about the bad speeds so it means that we need the extra bandwidth just to get our speeds up to what we are paying for. I doubt that 70Mbps will do it but now yet again they allowing signups. It does not make any sense seems like we are just getting screwed again.

We indeed do allow signups again.

Our site will be updated this afternoon :)

Kind regards
MrBEEP
