I have managed to negotiate an excellent Gold Uncapped special offer for you!

Gold Uncapped has less people using one pipe, thus it is faster, less shaped and generally works better than Standard based account.

Which backbone is this on? Previously with some specials it was limited to a certain backbone.
 
Does this apply to those of us already on the service too or would it involve switching to a different backbone? Currently on VB.

This is so worth it! I would love to sign up right now, only problem is, i still have till the end of june until my mweb uncapped is cancelled. By then, i wont be able to take this special.

That's the problem I also have. Need a months notice for these specials :P
 
Well hopefully openweb will keep this special running till after june, coz then im definately signing up. Sick of mweb, i want gold uncapped at good prices, and this special is perfect for me.
 
If you're a current openweb user then forget it.
Thats the reason I switched to a mweb uncapped 4MB, every time I get this ad its for new members only, its as if being a long time customer is worth nothing to them, anyways, tried a number of times to talk them into letting me cancel fast and sign up again, always with the standard reply of "you will not be able to make it because by the time your current acc is cancelled and the new one is started the specials will be over".

Maybe openweb should think about how that makes their current clients feel! Its like "where else can you go? you have no choice, of course we don't need your support, you're so stuck with us" well guess what!!!! choices are out there, and Mweb 4MB uncapped is really good, shaping really only during day time, at night speeds are great, and even during the day browsing is blazing fast.

I'm on Gold and I didn't get it on the special. I am happy with the product and if they want to run specials to acquire new customers, let them - this is a normal business practice.
 
This special is probably going to run on the bcsnet backbone.
 
Hmmm... it seems as if you have to activate a debit order in order to pay for these accounts.... This worries me....
 
I've emailed Openweb with questions about this special (specifically about backbone, shaping and gaming) and have yet to receive a direct answer.

I don't think this deal is as good as it seems.
 
Yeah, I received one email from MrBeep earlier today and then I replied with some more questions, but he still has not responded. I hope he does. I hope this deal is as good as it seems and I really do hope that I can make payments other than debit orders. Otherwise, I might just land up paying an extra R79
 
Why are you people so scared of debit orders? It's by far the easiest way to pay.
