Openweb Gold Uncapped

Hi Khahn,

I am sorry to hear that you feel our support 'sucks'.

We will definitely take this comment to heart, and improve our support channels where we can.

Your feedback, and constructive comments are appreciated.

Kind regards
MrBEEP

Openweb local only accounts work OK, as for KEOMA and team - their support sucks!

Stop inventing new ways to slander OpenWeb. This company has only been but good to its clients, and all the positive comments on this thread is clear!

You are so childish you cannot even reply to a thread without being rude. LOL!

Current Openweb 4Mbps stats:

Torrents: 521K+
Downloads: 510K+

(My line must've been upgraded though, as this is above 4Mbps)

No you moron, i get irrate when plebbs like yourself try tell me my experience with openweb has been good when it wasnt, that was my experience with them deal with it!

Check your ADSL Modem line status?

:/

Still 384k here...

Bleh

Line rental is to expensive... rather fly to Hong Kong :P

Mr Brown Fox, openweb is using IS for their uncapped services. Luckily I didn't have to use their support in the last 4 years of using them so I can't comment on their availability. But I think it is a plus that their service offering was of such a nature that I didn't require their support.

They are using mweb

Trolls!

Regardless what people say.. openweb uses IS

I have a 1Mbps line and two adsl accounts from openweb, one 384k and another 1mbps account.. both uncapped.

on the 384, i get up to 95Kbps during the day and night with torrents.(amazing right?)
on the 1mbps line i get anywhere between 100 and 130kbps anytime of the day and with newzhost stuff i get up to 300kbps!

speeds are only slow when seeders are low.

so regardless of what anyone says.. openweb is the shiz.. and i have had no issues with them.
btw if you're a customer at openweb for a long time, you get discounted prices.. so any idiot who ops for the cheaper account from another ISP is wasting a lot of money.

Stupid trolls always bashing on things they are jealous of.

Openweb is great. The few times I had issues Keoma and his team sorted it out in minutes (the one time was on a Sunday night).
They should get a reward for their service. On the gold uncapped you can also choose backbones and am not limited to just IS.

Does openweb gold shape/de-prioritise filehosting sites?

It depends on which backbone you are on. The network providers of such is responsible for the shaping on the respective networks.
But to answer your question, "p2p and filesharing and other such related services" get shaped. In my experience it's been pretty relaxed.

@clvplmr

You talking about stupid trolls. You are a troll who opened an old thread. Just wasted 5 min reading through it only to realize it's old.
:(

I have switched from 1mb GOLD uncapped to SILVER uncapped and am still experiencing the same fantastic connection. The speeds are great and downloads running through the night run at max line speed.

I wonder if he knows that there are different backbones being used :D
