OpenWeb: How does your 10day account work?

Hi Guys,

I have been chatting to a coupld of friends who work at local ISPs about how Openweb is able to offer their 10day local only uncapped account.

Nobody is able to figure it out.

I have used their service for 3 days now, and I have been capped. (Yes, on an uncapped account, go figure.)

When I logged into the IS stats, it said that my account has had a total usage of 37GB. Therefore I assume that is has been capped.

BUT: There are multiple connections on this account. I have only done +-10GB on it...

I assume that the reason that Openweb is able to offer these 10 day accounts, is because they double/tripple people up on IS accounts.

But I dont want to have to change my username and password every 2/3/4 days just because these accounts get capped?

And the worst of it, is that Keoma has gone away for the weekend. What am I going to do now???

Any ideas ???
 
Yes it is a good question. I had one at the end of last month. Managed to do just about 30 gigs according to my calculations. Also couldnt get an accurate reading as this account had multiple connections as well.

Really strange that you have been capped though. What is the point of the whole thing then?

R99 for 10 days or 30gig local,whichever comes 1st. That is not so good :(

Thank you for the interest in our account.

Unfortunately, revealing how it is done, will be revealing that pepper is KFC's secret ingredient (I am SO sure it is ;) )

However, users will not get Hardcapped on an Uncapped local account. It is Uncapped, as we will take the risk of the amount of GB's the user utilizes.

We also do not double/triple connections onto one account as IS only allows 2 concurrent connections, and that is the amount of connections a 10 day Uncapped account holder can have.

I trust this helps, even if just a little.

If it's not then I will be there(Openweb) like a rash :D
 
It is true, we have been emailed personally.

I am VERY happy with this service. They are living up to their word. I would recommend this 10day uncapped service to all "Martial Arts" experts !!!

Signed up, getting pay R0 into thier account for this type of account... does that mean they are out of accounts to sell??

PM'd Mr. Beep... lets check how speedy his response is... :)

Fast response but they sold out of 10 day accounts..... ALREADY! :(
 
What good is it if they have sold out of accounts?

Edit: I am not too sure if I read that correctly ??? Are they not selling them anymore ???

The website doesn't seem to work too well at that point - it shows R0. I bought one a few days ago (about two weeks), ignored the R0.00 and just deposited the R99 as instructed into the bank account. Within the hour I had my account details :-D

Fantastic service! Unfortunately, Telkom (as usual) mucked up and I couldn't use the account :-(

SO are these 10Day uncapped accounts still available.... got capped yesterday, and just need something til the end of the month...
