Openweb just won me over based on the fact they helped me to try sort out a query I had about routing local/int and the fact that Web Africa homepage will not let me browse the drop down menu's with opera.

Mr Beep if I do a bank transfer when can I have an account, I dont have a credit card to make payment, only a stupid maestro so I'll have to go into the bank right? looking to purchase some local bandwidth.

Thanks

I would suggest mailing them directly at their admin address... MrBEEP has a life outside of OpenWeb and MyADSL I am sure ;)

Sounds like u will have to visit a bank unless u got internet banking and can do an EFT...

Oh come on now bro, be fair on me. I told you I will do it once the new Control Panel is up! :p

Not really. I still haven't got my free lap-dance that MrBEEP promised me for signing up.

Mr Beep I already filled in a form on your site and ordered a 30gig local acc, but due to the fact that Its almost month end/ standard bank have screwed over my internet banking for the last 5 days could I change that order to 10 gig local? would I have to fill in another form or can i just make deposit and notify you?

Thanks

You may just make a deposit and email the proof of payment to [email protected]

We will then update it for you.

Hey Mr Beep. I see the credit card instant activation is up and running. Great stuff. No more running off to the bank when IS caps me. Fantastic.

Absolutely!

I am very excited about it!

Good stuff!

Just one thing, it's still got the old pricing (goes to show how long this has been in development ;))

R70 for 10GB instead of R69 and R130 for 30GB. No 40GB option.

What? There's a 40G option? Mr. Beep, tell me this is true!!? :)

Unfortunately not anymore :(

However, we are launching our new Topup-with-us! specials today!

Topup accounts that will last until end June for ridiculously low prices!

...Topup-with-us!

Sounds like a good slogan for a pub. OpenBar, sounds like a good name. You could even offer free internet connectivity, although i doubt anyone will be going to use it much.

Another pint please sir!

Just wanna quickly make sure..

with the 512k allaccess, do i still hav to pay for line rental? and if so, how much is it, and how much does telkom charge for line activation?

Hey ocean-addict

Yes, the 512k All Access 30GB account excludes line rental.

The installation fee is about R480 once off. You can however choose the self install option, which allows you to install the ADSL yourself, at no charge.

The 512k ADSL line rental will cost R326p/m from 1 August.
