just a few more questions..

With regards to the self install,
1. if my fone line is not active, wat is the process from there? does a telkom tech first hav to come and activate my line and plug me into the dslam? cause i know all about waiting for telkom to do things..
2. do i need to hav a dslam compliant modem? can i just simply grab one at my nearest telkom office or off the net?

and with regards to openweb, is the bandwidth throughput guaranteed?

Do I still get 2 concurrent connections with those top-up accounts? I have route sentry at home with 2 pc's.

Have I missed something? Where can I see these specials? Have checked out the Openweb page and can't seem to find them.

been with openweb for a month now and using uncapped 1024 and must say its a real pleasure dealing with them, been with webafrica for a long time but personally i feel that webafrica is not delivering the same service as openweb where uncapped is concerned and Mr Beep has been great in accommadating my request.
Just managed to cancel 2 telkom a/c's and cant believe how quick it took them to cancel it and had accounts department phoning me and telling me that i would be credited for the amounts on my account.

must be the rainy weather in cape town that's having a positive affect on people living here (nice and cold at night so they getting laid) and end up being happy in their grey telkom buildings.

MrBEEP, r these 2 connections allowed from 2 different physical locations/premises? i.e. 2 different IP addresses will be assigned?

I see WebAfrica allow 4 on their prepaid accounts, can't remember under what conditions tho.

Yes, they are allowed from two different physical locations.

Generally, IS accounts allow for 2 concurrent connections, and SAIX accounts allow for 4.
