hey MrBEEP. i wanted to order a 10day local uncapped today :(
if i order today will i be able to get the account detials today?
pls say yes :)

OpenWeb closed for the weekend

Sounds a bit iffy if you ask me. How can a ISP not have someone at the office on holidays etc?
Me think Openweb is just a one man show(2 max). Can you imagine if something happened to Mr Beep (God forbid) and all his customers are left in the dark.
This is the IT industry not some farm stall that does not have to run 24/7 !
And don't tell me because everything is so perfect that nothing will go wrong or some new customers will not want to signup over that period of time.

Sad beep, sad!! :(

Dude I applied for an account last night and had it this morning.
MrBEEP / OpenWeb rocks !

@mozy
I'm sorry to say, but all of us can't start of as millionares when we create a new business. Have only had great service from MrBeep and believe that he will continue to give great service.

If something works why bash it, if he is one person and 1 person is enough to handle all his clients and still give great service, what would the purpose of hiring 20 workers at 10X amount if he only gets 2X per month. That my friend is makes no sense and that is the big reason why so many companies don't succeed. With that approach you need A lot of money and if you don't get the amount of customers you need within a certain time frame he will run out of capital and close down shop any way. What happens to the customer then? If the workload does get to big, then I'm sure he will have the common sense to hire more staff.

I am sure he has some kind of a plan, if something does happen to him. Like someone who would take over for a month until the customer can find a new supplier. Maybe even someone who will be able to run the show by himself.

So before accusing people of things that makes sense, do some research on starting a business. What is needed and what sacrifices have to be made in case you can't get what is needed. Not everyone can get R100 000 from a bank as capital, that doesn't mean that they must not be allowed to start their own business and provide better service than the rest.

m0zy, it would be preferred if you refrain from making false accusations, and comparing OpenWeb to that of a "farm stall".

I would appreciate it if you could substantiate your statements if they do indeed need to be negative.

For the other folks whom posted on this thread, I really appreciate your support for OpenWeb, and with clients like you, OpenWeb can indeed one day become big.

For informational purposes, MrBEEP has taken a well deserved break, as working approximately 15 hours daily, 7 days a week has taken its toll.

He has placed me in charge to oversee the technical aspect of the company, and I must assure all OpenWebbers, their investments are well taken care of.

I unfortunately will not be available to directly answer any email queries, however, MrBEEP will be checking his email account again tomorrow, as per the specified times.

If anything goes wrong, we have an Engineer in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban to solve that particular problem.

Once again, thank you for the support, and have a fantastic long weekend.

MrBEEP sens his love.

Kind regards
Amy Wallace

Dude. openweb has been the best ISP out there for some time. You will struggle to find anyone on this forum with one bad thing to say about them

So do a bit of research in future before making statements like the above.

Unfortunately, the 10 day uncapped accounts have been discontinued :(

However, MrBEEP is always looking at new packages. I do believe he has been designing a new package that is ready for launch soon.

This package should fill a few requests.

Myself, and the entire OpenWeb team really appreciates the support shown by the members of this forum.

That is why we will ALWAYS be active on these forums.

Best wishes
Amy

Your bridge called. It wants its troll back.

Just stating the obvious. Bet you MrBeep will be using this kind of info to improve his already good service.
Sometime a bit of controversy brings out the best in a company, be it small.
Ok, back to my camp fire under the bridge. It's to cold out here :D

Guys MrBeep desreves his long weekend break!! Come on guys its fathersday! Give the man a break!!!!

Most other ISP's won't even take the trouble to have support hours during a weekend let alone a long weekend...

Hey Friends,

Thank you so much for the good wishes.

Indeed the break was FANTASTIC!! I am now all charged up and ready to take on the world!! lol

I never would've though me going on holiday would cause such contraversy!

M0zy. I think next time I go on holiday you should come with. I think you were a little bit jealous there ;)

Kind regards
MrBEEP
