just received my invoice this morning and have noticed a price increase I was unaware of.
I take a 30G local account plus 192K openbrowse and have been paying R179 for the last few months. I am being charged R190 this month. I still think this is reasonable but was wondering if any openweb customers received notification of the increase, as I definitely did not.
I have emailed them and am awaiting a reply.

Is it the openbrowse portion that has suffered the increase?

i don't know- the invoice just states 30G local +192k openbrowse and total R190

Well, according to thier site if you take the "30 GB local + 192 kb openbrowse" it's R190. If you get them seperately, it's R130 for the 30GB local and R60 for the OpenBrowse; so again R190 in total.

I don't know when (/if) they changed it, but ja :p

of course they changed it cos i'm looking at my previous invoices now. besides as paying customers we should be informed of price increases without having to go to their website. They email me my invoice so surely they can email me if their prices are going up.

still no reply to my 8h30 email from openweb!

Hey Friends

Our OpenBrowse portion had a price re-allignment about 3 months ago.

Current clients were kept on the old price throughout this time, but im afraid due to a loss being suffered, we had to change the current client price to the one reflected on the website.

I apologise for any inconvenience. We sent out a mailer earlier this month to inform current clients of the price increase.

Kind regards
