If they don't get their **** together Im moving isps... Is the problem only with me or other openweb users also experiencing this problem?

Just saw the second pic now. MWEB doesn't use SAINET either.

I ran the test again on saix.net and I actually timed how long it took to do the test...

openweb took 2 mins 31 secs

mweb took 27 secs

I have no complaints about Openweb at all. Should the service seem a bit slow, I call them and they sort it out pronto. No need for whinging

I have emailed Dane from openweb many times you can ask him.

Sorry I didn't look properly I will continue this thread onto that thread now.

Both IP's in said screenshots belong to SAINET according to Afrinic (note the same IP address for both screenshots)
If you are getting such vast differences on the exact same connection, either pause your downloads when performing tests or your ADSL Line could just be a tad bit poked. At least your ping doesn't spike too much between the two.

I suspect he was on OW, then connected via pppoe to Mweb without refreshing the speedtest page... because if you change connections and click on "test again", it doesn't refresh your IP on the speedtest.net page.

Yeah I didnt refresh... but does that make a difference?

Try doing it properly: Connect, wait a bit, test, then same with the other. But yeah, refresh the page, otherwise stats are recorded incorrectly.
And Speedtest.net is inaccurate most of the time, as it generally receives a higher priority in the shaping system.

Same here  Mr. Beep moved my account 4 times but still everything is so slow on my 2mb line  IS really sucks.

Any alternatives, please?

MrBeep moved me to a different network. My speedtest now show SAINET instead of IS. Fastest connection I've ever had.
