so how is this openweb package. do they shape or what. I'm playing black ops and only download serieses and not really games etc. I want to get away from mwebn can someone suggest me on a way to go.

I'm on the 4mb OpenWeb Uncapped Unshaped deal for R496 pm. I average about 28 Gigs over a 10 day rolling period and so far I've never been throttled. My usage rating stays at 2 stars.

Where did you get this deal? I cant find it on openweb's page?

Same here - this is intermittent and seems to be related to the VB dns server - I have monitored the dns server and it times out about 4 times a day

Use the Google DNS servers (8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4).

hmmm mine has been up and down and all over the place the last couple of weeks. For instance overnight I was getting around 150kB/s. I see now it is going 350kB/s+.

the strangest is when my nzb downloads come down faster than what i get on normal http.

Also had issues with the default DNS settings on the VB backbone. My facebook posts wouldn't update/couldn't change profiles pics, etc. After changing to Google DNS everything is fine.

Iv been trying to reach him coz i wanna know if he has a trial account for me to test the 4mb uncapped gold as i am considering jumping ship from mweb to openweb, however, i would like to test uncapped gold to see how it runs compared to my mweb account before i make any decisions, i need to be sure.
