Well I just joined Astraweb now. Download speed at 75kB/s now. Much better, but still nothing to write home about.

Well the IS news server is still flying for me at max line speed, international news server also going strong at 39kb/s. As long as it keeps running like that I'll be a happy chappy.

Paid in the difference and upgraded back to the R999 express account that I was on previously. Browsing much more responsive. Downloading via http doubled and torrents went from 5KB/s to 450KB/s off peak hours and very consistent.
Is there still a problem with the Openweb accounts and are the IS Engineers still working on it because I can't even open speedtest to run a test, news is slower than yesterday - Youtube is buffering - infact the account is unusable! I have reconnected as advised yesterday.
No problem here, getting ok speeds on torrent and HTTP downloads.

My news server speeds have declined a little, but still very happy with the speeds I'm getting, so no complaints from me so far

Astra going full at 38-40k/s, torrents seeding well, can browse and download (never possible with Digichilli), all IM's connect fine, and e-mail functions.
What more could I ask for?

My speeds are fine now including international news but YouTube is still buffering which is irritating me - sort of encourages you to download 24/7 what else can I do! Pings were always good but speed test was giving me varying speeds earlier.

I have an uncapped 4mbs Openweb account and my speeds are terrible, seems I'm limited to 1.5mbs and news.is.co.za is shaped to hell and back even at 2am. I email [email protected] and asked what the problem was and he replied by giving me details for Https proxy. When I used the settings in utorrent and AltBinz it worked imediatly and I was getting much better speeds. However I really prefer using Grabit since Altbinz sometimes just randomly doesnt download.
Does anyone know how to get Grabit to use Proxy settings?

As stated before in the thread, this is not a cap. It is the only way we can email usage to you currently. Please only focus on the bandwidth, and not the cap figure, as it does not pertain to anything.
