Option 3 is correct. Beta account for testing purposes. You will be very happy next month (provided you don't use bit-torrent.)

I have to say, this morning my gold uncapped 384k account is extremely quick. Youtube actually loaded 90% of all the videos I view without any buffering. Will test it some more later when I get home.

Hey Friends,

The tests of our OpenWeb Gold network for 4Mbps users are going really really well! We have not had one complaint yet! Just positive feedback. The words 'flying' comes to mind. We will reveal a launch date as soon we are 100% satisfied that the network can handle the commercial load.

New provider update: We are strongly pushing for a 1 June launch. If not a full launch, at least a soft launch so that we can place some clients on the new network so long.

Openweb is much better today, speeds are looking good.

Question for MrBEEB; If Telkom upgrades 384k to 1mb/ps and 512k to 2mb/ps, would Openweb be launching respective packages or would we have to go with the 4mb uncapped account?

If line speeds increase, I'd hope the accounts would follow suit, at the same price. Hopeful maybe...

Otherwise, I'm sure they can limit the account speed, so though line is faster the account will still run at the same speed. That's OK I guess.

Can have one account for downloading, another for browsing- both on the same line

The more I read about other ISPs service levels going backwards (not really the speeds - that's Internet Solutions' problem / fault), the more I'm convinced that OpenWeb is a good choice.
