Openweb Uncapped Feedback

Just thought I'd throw in my 2 cents worth:

Been watching this forum for weeks. I moved from Afrihost uncapped (because of their oversubscribing) to Openweb at the beginning of the month. Despite everything that had been said, the changing of ports occasioned by Mr Beep, this service has not been satisfactory. The browsing has been adequate, streaming terrible and p2p during off peak travels at unacceptable speeds. I feel that uncapped is being undermined by the slow speeds; may as well be on a capped service because the speeds are so limiting. So, that is what I feel. To mweb I go. This market is too competitive to fart around while isps scramble with network swapping when subscribers have paid the full fees. Not good enough innit.

Hey Friends,

Please provide me a morning update.

It seems like lst night a Telkom line went down causing some speed problems. Is the problem still ongoing? If so, please email me your username. [email protected]

Kind regards
MrBEEP

Sadly its not ISP's fault at the moment, its their provider of bandwidth which is IS.
Demand > Supply and thus quality of the product has dropped BUT Mr Beep has said they are moving on to a new network as of next month.
Mweb package is great but i wont sign on just yet, need to see what this new network is like next month

Hey Friends,

There was a major Telkom backbone fault causing slow speeds yesterday. All should now be sorted.

Kind regards
MrBEEP
