Lucky! I only get that if I do it to Jhb, but ofc not much of the internet is in Jhb! ^.~ Im sure it will be fixed soon, Ive only seen good things coming from OpenWeb and I think the VERY few issues on this thread are testament to that!

I'm new with OpenWeb and can only have good things to say. I have the Gold package though, not sure which you have.

Yeah Gold as well, just got back to my PC and everythings running smoothly, thanks so much for the help Mr Beep! ^.^
 
I signed up for the 384 Gold over the weekend, but wasn't impressed with the speed. I emailed MrBEEP and 10 minutes later everything was flying. I am getting speeds on P2P that I have not been able to get on HTTP through MWEB. Thanks OpenWeb and thanks MrBEEP!!! These accounts are most definitely worth the extra money!
 
keoma also sorted me out with a new log in, all seems to working again.
 
I guess encrypted connections (FTPES) are shaped during the day as I am getting 15K or so? Just want to know if this is normal or not, not complaining as speeds at night are great!
 
as a side thing - anyone noticed that MrBEEPs emails come 8 hours from the future (GMT+10)

Did brief tests yesterday, nothing really to download at the moment - and my account seems to be back to normal :)
 
I have found that the shaping is a bit more harsh now than in December. Is this because IS is shaping more on consumers to keep bandwidth for business?

The speeds are still full from 12-7am. But for the rest, no where nearly as good as in December... Even speedtest isn't great :( (faster upload than download occasionally)

Anyone else experiencing it?

Just so he gets a head start on sorting our problems out before they happen.
 
On the vb gold and have to say the premium for the account is no longer quite as great as it was for during the day downloading. Seems to be peaking around 100kBps. Mind tried IS the other day and it didn't seem much different

Edit - talking non-http protocols
