Hey Friends,

There is currently a fault on the Telkom core backbone, causing Gold Uncapped holders to experience a degraded international experience.

There is also a major fault in the USA currently causing slow speeds from this country.


Engineers are attending.

same experience with my site in the US vs the other location in EU. mrBeep's post just confirmed it...
 
I cant complain from struisbaai.Free account!If you are on a shape connection and getting k@k connection that's what you pay for either get a seedbox or usenet acc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Or get a UNSHAPE CONNECTION.

I'm on Neology.... 384 Gold and 384 line. I get full speed which is around 37KBps

I'm finding it hard to restrain myself from not giving a sarcastic comment to what you said, so I'll just keep it to myself. Anyhow if you did any effort to read what some of us have posted, I AM using an Usenet account. Have used a seedbox before, but I'm more of a http and nzb downloader. Still, if you're on VB and you supposedly have "no complaints" then why post a useless reply. If you're getting good speeds and most likely full line speed, then the rest of us on VB are suppose to get those speeds as well. Your insinuating that some of us here are complete idiots according to you and trying to school us now on how and what to use to download.

BTW, learn to spell properly as well, but I take it your Afrikaans judging by the swear word you threw into your response. Really immature for a thread where we are trying to have a constructive adult discussion. So next time, try and put some more thought into your posts before looking and sounding like a complete douche.

It looked like mine maintained a 250KB/s+ to the EU newsserver - after changing, HTTP still dead. Not a major concern. MrBEEP changed me over to another account - so I'll change that tonight and see how it goes.

+1. Changed threads to cool down, cause guys like that shouldn't be on here.

To some Gold update info, noticed when i got home yesterday, speeds (VB) were at 150 - 250. Rebooted PC and Router and went up to 400+. Not sure if that is shaping, otherwise it would have stayed the same. Not sure what happens during office hours though. Done 200gigs so far this month.
 
Anyone else having problems streaming videos on the gold vb network?
 
Mine looked promising before I left for work this morning (4mb plus speeds via speedtest.net), will test it as soon as I get back home in a little while.
 
My connection is dead. Router picks up up and down stream, but NO browsing. Afrihost PP and Nexus PP connecting so it should be an Openweb problem.

Goes to show if you brag about something, they take it away.
 
Same here. Can connect to some pages but very slowly. Pain in the ass just to try and send Keoma a email
 
Stonecold, have you had any issues with Black Ops and Steam and TS3? I keep gettig DC errors and am not sure if it is related to my Openweb account running via IS. Only happens with Black Ops. Star Craft and all the other online games work fine. I have reinstalled and formatted etc but to no avail.

Any ideas?
 
Levi, I have no issues whatsoever with my VB account. I can use Steam, BO and TS3 without any problems. Perhaps you should ask Mr.Beep to put you on the VB network and test it out.Two clan mates of mine also had dc problems with IS based accounts the past week. If yours is a long term problem, then give the VB network a shot and see if that is better or remedies your issues.
 
Think I'll go and decrypt that first letter of Dead Space while I wait for MrBeep to fix my internets.
