Yesterday was not a good day on VB and it seems today is going to be the same.Tested an IS account and it was just as bad if not worse.

Anyone know if Openweb (Gold) is charged pro-rata or not? Can't seem to see on their website - IIRC - it isn't
 
Thus far, I have had no complaints pertaining to openweb gold vb over the last week, it's been running a okay.

started some downloads this morning and it was done.
 
I am...ever since the problem last week...after it came back up...I am only getting 200KB/s - 300KB/s instead of my usual 420KB/s...Telkom says my line is syncing perfectly at 4mbit...so...who is the one to blame here?

Last night I was getting around 20kB/s on my 4meg line

Maybe an issue related to your exchanges or somewhere between the Keyboard and the Internet?
I might only have 384 (IS network) but I haven't had any issues yet this month.

Definitely nothing wrong with my line or exchange as my capped a/c runs full speed.
 
There is some improvement. Usenet running at around 250kB/s

mine running at 50kb/s max on 4mb line.

Today and yesterday have been especially terrible.

VB Gold uncapped 4mb account

Kudos to Mr Beep for sorting out my problem.This is one of the reasons I signed up in the 1st place.
My account is back to its brilliant best.Hope I have not jinxed it:D
 
What kind of pings should I be hitting on the VB Gold accounts?
My latency generally runs around 150ms during the day local with some packet loss, is that what I should expect?

Sounds like a network error to me. When I was on VB Gold I had Utopian connectivity... low latency, 0 packet loss.
 
Hi Mr Beep

Have the R1299 after hours uncapped package, speeds are ridiculously slow and its friday night, this has occured now the past few nights, will pm you as well.
 
after getting good speeds all day, it seems now i am down to 100kB/s. wonder if the throttling clock doesn't have AM and PM switched around? Probably not as I am guessing I lost speed at around 11pm.
