I don't think it's JUST bcs that's affected.
My IS-backbone Gold account is staggeringly slow. (YES, i have a backup prepaid account to test...)
Newsgroups are painfully slow, Steam server pings are ludicrously high, and streaming something as small as a 64kbps radio channel is choppy.

Tested on the prepaid account everything works fine.
 
Yea I went back to my webafrica prepaid account and everything seemed fine. Sure Openweb will sort it out.
 
Anyone else find that the Altech backbone blocks file sharing sites like Mediafire, etc?

Besides that, I get full speed on business protocols.
 
I think both Altech and VB backbone blocks file sharing sites and torrents, just IS I think allows it...and this is me thinking :p
 
Slow is not the work hehe its doing 0.3kb/s for 1 sec then 0.0001kb/s for 5 sec and so on hehehe.

Would appreciate any feedback on VB Gold 4MB.My speeds have been really poor for about a week now and even assistance from Mr Beep has proved fruitless.
Nothing wrong with my line as my capped account works flawlessly.
 
Openweb just went dead, can not connect at all, sitting on my Webafrica account at the moment, anyone else? Internet light on my router is dead when trying to connect to Openweb.

Does openweb not have after hour service at all ?? Tried the number not working.

Mine's working fine. Better than normal actually, 4Meg Gold.
 
Weird, I have tried adding the logging detail again into my router same result, only webafrica. So it account problem then. Sucks can only be sorted tomorrow then.
 
Thanks, its back up again.....weird but speed is much less that what I got on webafrica, take it Openweb has not resolved the problem yet.

Mine has also been very slow. Switched to Altech backbone today, will try again next week to see if VB has improved at all.
