Openweb Uncapped Feedback

This connection is actually disgusting at the moment - its so slow SABNZB displays "Idle"

Haven't tried downloading from my newsdemon account yet, but my torrents are running at 91 bytes/sec, which sadly is a bit slower than yesterdays 108 bytes /sec.

So much for it being a short term problem then....

Will see how it pans out the rest of the month, but this is my 1st month on the openweb debit order "special"....so far not impressed as it was waaaay better when I paid month to month manually.

I also had some problems on the Altech backbone. Second night in a row that I had to dial in to my backup account.
 
My VB account has been giving authentication problems in Cape Town since 8pm last night. Still not working.
Has anyone else had authentication problems on VB?
 
Yes mine was same from last night had like 21 disconnects while playing online games. Gaming pings are good when you stay connected

No authentication problems on my side with my VB account. Guess I'm just really lucky with my VB account in comparison with you guys here.

Openweb slow speeds

Hi Guys,

Is anyone experiencing slow speeds on the Openweb 4Mbps Gold Uncapped account? Or in general with the ISP?

The entire week I have not been able to get above 60kb. They tell me that they have to reset my Telkom port.

I Never had to do this with any other ISP on the same line?

Netlimiter stats show increase in speed everyday this week only after midnight.


I am considering cancelling with them.


Any advise will be appriciated.

My accounts are going like a rocket!! 1.84Mbps today on a 1Mbps line!!!

My apologies if I did not follow the correct channels.

But to correct you, I have sent you a request for support yesterday along with my pretty graphs, lol, here is the email time stamp "Thu, Oct 6, 2011 at 8:57 PM".

So infect it was quite a lot of "few minutes ago". LOL. Would you like me to post the copy of the email? LOL.

You are my number one no-nonsense ISP on the list, some others are right at the bottom and let me tell you there is no middle. LOL.

Is anyone else in Joburg experiencing a problem? I'm a 4MBPS Gold uncapped subscriber, my housemates who are at home tell me the Internet has either not been connected or incredibly slow the whole day.
