I also had 260kb/s, but picked up nicely now to 380kb/s :)

Really odd that you can't login to Origin, I just logged into Origin without any problems. :wtf:
 
My Altech is running ok as well... a little bit slow at opening sites this morning (seems DNS is slow to respond) but downloads are running fine.
 
Thanks for the feedback, mailed MrBeep and hopefully it gets back to normal soon.
 
I'm getting 80kb/s on VB today :( Have yet to see above 200kb/s anytime of the day though.
 
Is STEAM content not local?
I'm on IS and choose JHB IS in the STEAM settings and I swear it says content servers.
I would think there's local would not be shaped/throttled or what ever this speed limiting is call.
But afterhours my account is runs 100% even with this Seacom problem.
 
Wel, just got a message from Telkom that my fault has been solved. Sure enough my internet is faster. It seems the exchange had a problem. Still getting very high latency in gaming to EU but I am guessing it has to be due to Seacom still being down.
 
Bang on 5pm download speeds jumped from dailup to 30 to 50KB/s.
Also up until 7am I had full line speed, there after it was dailup.
1MB Gold Plus (IS).
Hopefully it hits full speed soon as I need iOS5 in the next hour.

Is it just me, or does anyone else with a VB account have slow international access, I need to reload the majority of international sites twice before they want to open :(
 
I have a feeling there are different kind of VB accs. Mine's fine now. But like I said, I peak out everywhere at 230kB/s any time of the day.
