Anyone else having a problem with Steam? It says there is an update, but its having difficulty getting the update.
 
Hi Friends,

We are experiencing authentication failure errors on some networks.

Engineers are attending.
 
So I switched back to IS (from VB) last night...and I had about an hour of full speed...then it dropped to 10-15KB/s capacity and has not come back yet. This morning it is beyond useless, can't even download a simple 20KB email from my gmail account...local access is not good either, peaking at about 30KB/s :(

Anyone else on IS experience this? I'm on 1024Kbps Gold Plus.

BTW...I'm not having any authentication problems :)

IS gold is useless during daytime, especially int browsing. Same story with gmail.

My 1mb Gold Plus (IS) is broken come 7am, and only usable again at 5pm.
But its the only account where torrents max out the line throughout the night.
 
International is almost non existent at the moment. On the Openweb backbone.

There seems to be a general slowdown today. It might have something to do with the Apple patch, and a whole range of Microsoft patches that came out. Seacom isn't helping! All should clear by later tonight.

My International is extremely slow max 90Kbps. Anyone else?

The last couple of days have been absolute s&!t speeds. Torrents going a max 5kbps and browsing is almost non-existent throughout the day, while night, mid-day, mid-night, at 4am at 3am at 5am at 8pm...Think you get the point.

I am a Gold user and I honestly donno why I bother paying for this, can't understand how they offer these discounted Big Sales, when they can't even support their top level client.
 
Been using Gold account on VB and speeds have been consistent for 98% of the time. Very impressed with OW :). My modem does not rest unless the electricity cuts :D

Overall I'm very happy with my 1mbps gold VB account.

But the past few days I'm unable to open certain international (USA) web pages, which is kinda frustrating.

Is this currently still a problem for other VB users? Seacom still not fixed I guess?
