Yes. Standard uncapped throttles you if you use too much.

Gold doesn't and also has much better performance. Lower contention ratios and less shaping.

I'm on IS with my 4Meg Gold, no complaints as of yet from my side and most companies would have given me sh*t about abuse etc by now. Thats why I'm 100% happy with Openweb and Mr. Beep.
