Opera 10 Final Released!

:( Where's the tab-system-thing ? I like firefox's "bookmark-tabs" a lot! That's one of the places Opera comes short of FF... IMO.

Downloaded it, trying it out etc. Pretty much the same, don't think I'll use the tab thumbnails a lot but they look nice and work well.

This is standard out the box install. First site I went to is Acid3 test and *bam*

EDIT: Haha! I got it, it's using the same proxy as IE! (So was Chrome)

pfft. There we go 100/100

Oh, noticed its a LOT faster in gmail, basically same performance as chrome. The firefox style spell check is a welcome addition. I think you could fiddle with stuff and enable it before but now it's out of the box.
 
Tried acid 3 now, didn't fiddle with anything but did install as an "upgrade". 100/100

I think you're possibly referring to Speed Dial? (thumbnails of your favourite sites shown when you create a new tab)

I was talking about the tab thumbnails at the top. You can drag a bar just below the tabs downwards and then see thumbnails of whats actually in the tabs.

Yeah, don't think it would be a selling point for me... :/
 
I was using the beta version which auto-updated to the final version a few days ago. The newest feature that I noticed is the ability to re-open tabs that you previously closed.
 
Anybody got a idea how to disable the popup irritating message from the turbo thing?
 
I've been using 10 since the alpha release and Opera for the last 11 years. It is still the fastest and best alternative browser in the universe and it caters for those less fortunate (non windows) people.

Looks great on my Linux OS, I can even blend my theme to match Opera, I don't feel less fortunate but privileged.

On the status bar at the bottom, click the arrow next to the turbo icon, choose "Configure Opera Turbo" and untick "Notify me about network speeds".
 
TURBO NOT WORKING...UNALE TO ESTABLISH CONNECTION..ANYONE ELSE GOT SAME PROBLEM?
