Opera upgrades Mini, tops 20 million users

Got it yesterday. The return of skins and full screen mode is welcome. Opera just keeps getting better. You can keep your iphone, I'd rather have the convenience and low data costs of Opera Mini any day.
 
Nice, its kind of a closed market for now isnt it (till firefox's mobile thingy comes into play) so they are pretty much competing with themselves...but not terrible and quite usefull at time
 
i have both the opera browser and mini version on my fone and i prefer the mini version as it loads websites alot quicker
 
yeah these new features are great but i still use the hacked version. with tabbed browsing, a file manager, and personalised shorcuts, among other things. it doesnt have that whole zoom thing but once you start using tabbed browsing you just cant use the normal version

just point your wap browser to opera-mini.ru
obviously alot of these features are for the more advanced phones! but almost every sony ericsson works...
 
Great App

I am using the Mini browser to read this article and post this reply. It is a great app and cost effective.
 
The PC browser is excellent the only prob with the mobile browser si my phones on symbian and the opera browser for that has gotta be paid for atleast that what is says to me with its 30 day trial period and all.

I've never been able to understand how come Opera Mini and the PC browser are free, but Opera Mobile is a paid for version:confused:.
