This woman is smoking some good ****. Clearly we can see shes benefiting greatly from it.
 
The idea of having 2 deputy presidents was Just rejected.

Now nomination takes place a 16:00 pm and is open to media, so it could be livestreamed.

After this, voting takes place and if everything carries on like it is then we can expect a result by Monday morning.
 
Where's the best place to follow updates or a livefeed?

Enca has a constant live coverage and also has a nice booth at the centre and they have political analysts with them so it becomes interesting to watch.

News24 has a written livefeed, so you can watch something else but still keep an eye on whats happening
 
OP has been updated with links and a live stream.

New developments:

  • Delegates are all registered, are currently on lunch, with nominations to start at 4PM
  • The idea of two deputy presidents was dismissed by the NEC
  • A suggestion is currently underway to change the ANC "Top Six" to the "Top Seven" to allow for progress in the event of a stalemate between the six members
  • 35 branches of the North West province have been disqualified as voting delegates
  • Duarte says they found, mainly in the E.C & W.C people [delegates] were left out. They appealed, showed proof and were reinstated into conference

to win one needs less than 2389, surely, while it may be a 2 horse race, there are other contenders?
 
ANC rejects proposal for second deputy president

The African National Congress has rejected proposals to expand its top six with a second deputy president and two additional deputy secretary generals.

The party's 4776 delegates voted via a show of hands on various party constitutional amendments during its first closed session on Sunday.

One does not win 50%+ to win, the one with the most votes wins, as easy as that.

Radebe, Phosa, Mkhize are still in the race I think.

Sisulu and Mbete rallied with CR.

It looks like the number of delegates is as predicted. Meaning no disqualifications of the alleged bogus delegates from the Zuma provinces
