With exception to Mantashe, who is very good at his job, the rest are all new blood for their respective positions. Ramaphosa and Sisulu are the only other members previously serving in the top 6.

Having Mabuza in as DP is just asking for trouble. As former premier of MP, he has a lot of friends in high places, and will defer to the politics from that region in carrying out his duties. As much as I think Sisulu shouldn't be here to begin with, she can do some good as DP without having too much power. Duarte has been in since 2012 and needs to leave, and Mashatile hasn't been very effective in stemming the outflow of funds from the ANC's coffers, or settling their debts on time. Mashabane also doesn't have scandals following her, and her office is competent.

Also let's point out the obvious yet hilarious delicious irony

We have one candidate who is a female and is hellbent on destruction and corrupt as fck and looks crazy.

The other candidate we have is male who is less corrupt more business oriented and not bat**** crazy

Does this sound familiar or wat.... :p

A proposal is made that #ANC54 Conference breaks for dinner before Financial Report. Delegates will reconvene in plenary at 22:00

ANC says voting to commence tonight as TG Zweli Mkhize presents financial report from 10pm.

Media briefings tomorrow morning on organisational and financial reports. No word yet on time of results announcement. #ANC54
 
I read somewhere that the results are expected between 9-10 tomorrow.
 
Seems like they want to tire them out hoping they’ll abstain or vote in error.

Wtf wants votes at basically midnight or even later.
