Oukitel Store

Hello guys have anyone ever used this new e-commerce store they seem to be selling chinese smartphone brands local according to information provided by their WhatsApp admin the store started distributing product ka 2019 June, they offer free delivery across South Africa on all orders since price range is above R500 if you get wrong order they cover the cost of return shipment

I placed an order with them last week Fri for a Mi 10 Ulta which they prmoisied to ship on Monday. Never happened. 6 days later and the online order page just says paid, not READY or even despatched.

I've asked for a refund based on breach of contract.

Probably best to avoid!

Hello, seems as if it's two Oukitel's, There is Oukitel South Africa & Oukitel Store, they are both based in South Africa. I can only comment on Oukitel Store, because this is where i placed my order.

Firstly their prices is very cheap, compared to many online stores, especially the one's in south Africa. their product is good quality even though it's shipped from China/Hong Kong. the downside is that they take long to process and deliver your parcel, it took them two weeks for a mere cellphone to reach my door steps. I WILL RECOMMEND THEM BUT YOU HAVE TO BE SUPPER PATIENT.

I bought my phone here https://www.oukitelstore.co.za/ulefone-note-16-pro-8gb-128gb/ not sure if it's the same website. ordered on 03 June 2023 and only received on the 16 June 2023, I think they are sourcing from china, nevertheless good quality phones!

I almost bought on their site, but luckily contacted official Oukitel distributor in Southern Africa - Oukitel South Africa www.oukitel.co.za and they advised me the following:

"Oukitel Store (Pty) Ltd is not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with the Oukitel brand, Oukitel South Africa, Oukitel Global, or any of its subsidiaries or its affiliates. They use the "Oukitel" brand name in their company name without any authorization from the trademark owner."

Stay away from Oukitel Store as far as you can! They are trying to use Oukitel brand name to scam people (just check their Hellopeter reviews and you will see how bad it is!).

They were ordered by the companies tribunal to change their name within 90 days(order dated 5 June 2023), though the owner is yet to adhere to the court's order.
