Outage in Wynberg, CT

Has anyone else encountered an ADSL line outage in Wynberg, Cape Town? My router W/LAN is functioning as well as voice services on the line but the connection status remains at disconnected and says something about LCP.

Been fine in Plumstead all day and still fine on UPS for +_45 minutes now since some bright spark decided that we need a blackout tonight.

Sorry about the double post, posted in the wrong forum first time

My problem was resolved after sitting on hold with our friends for an hour before getting to speak to someone. They reset something at their end and asked me to physically power down the router instead of a reboot and all was resolved. Interestingly I had the same problem yesterday so I physically turned the router off and on and all was well

Our school is here almost on the M3, by the footbridge, and so far no problems.
Apart from the load shedding yesterday afternoon at some point of course.

Maybe he is capped on the account.

That's what used to happen to me when I was capped, the account wouldn't connect, gave me username / password errors.

Try another account with local access and logon to 'usage' site and check.
