Hi there

I would like to know if it is possible to do the following:

I have a mail that was sent to me, and on it were a few other people that were cc'd. Is it possible to add all those cc'd email addresses in a contact group instead of going and creating an individual contact for each.

I will never need to email any of these people individually, I just need a group.

Thanks

Create a new Distribution List (found in the 'New' menu), give it a name and add the required members. Then when sending a new mail use the newly created Distribution List in the To field.

But there are about 400 email addresses. If I have to create a new entry for each one that will take a while.

I tried creating a Distribution list and under 1 new entry pasting all the email addresses, however that does not work.

paste the cc list into excel, export to a CSV list, import to your address book? :)

Another problem that you'll have with a distro of 400 names is that a huge percentage of those mails will be bounced by their servers as "too many recipients". Also depends on the mailserver you're using.
I've seen many people complaining that they didn't receive e-mails sent to them because of this spam pervention measure in use by most public servers.

I am aware of the "too many reciepients" problem, but perhaps I was exadurating a little with 400. Its not nearly that many.

Is this at all possible though?
