Hi.

I had to do a clean install of windows after some files went corrupted.

I have four different e-mail addresses. How would you handle the different accounts with regards to the profile file?
Do I need to have a different profile for each of the different accounts or would you suggest to only have one profile file with a default address attached to that profile?

do you want.....?

1. to be able to read any/all mail, at any given time, with ease?
2. Be able to send from any you want, whenever

???

then

create 1st/main account. A data file is created. Point other accounts to the same data file.
If you wish setup email rules to manage email/folder allocation.

Exactly that. Thank you for your advise; much appreciated.

Thank you so far for your help. I have created a new profile with a default account. Below follows what I have done.

Outlook 2010

I have a profile of about 3.5GB and holds 5 different accounts. It is a pst file. I had to format my HDD after some files got corrupted.
Can someone please help me with a step-by-step instruction on what I need to do to import these 5 accounts into the single profile it was? I have created a new profile, deon-new with one of the 5 accounts as the default. I then imported everything in this 3.5GB file to the newly created file. It took just over 1 hour for the import. But, to my disappointment there was nothing, no different e-mail accounts in different folders with an inbox, sent etc folder for each of the different accounts. The only thing that was there was all my contacts ... which I was very relieved to see again.

I need someone to please tell me what I am doing wrong and what I need to do to get my e-mail accounts and folders back. I trust that you understand what I mean. Do I need to add the remainder of the four different accounts before the big import? Is it possible to import each account on its own into the new profile?

Thank you so very much.

Regards,

Deon
