I was with Hetzner and will never go back! As for South Africa...well dont even bother!

+1 agreed - there is not one local host that can compete with stability, uptime or pricing, especially when compared with www.host4africa.com intermediary of the www.theplanet.com.

Hetzner (www.hetzner.co.za/index.php/web-hosting/index/web-hosting/) is most probably the worst of the bunch, (turn around time, support, accounting, etc).
