I've never ever been able to find a satisfactory answer to this but every month I see about 80Gb of data listed as peer-to-peer filesharing on my Vodacom data usage.
Is this normal? Do i have a virus? I use a VPN to connect to the office, I use MS-Teams and Pastel a lot and One Drive. I can see all those things I use as well as my streaming media listed but nobody has ever been able to tell me what the P2P is. I mean I know what P2P is but I don't use torrents or anything like that. I've searched this forum too but not found anything.

Do you perhaps game? Some online games actually use a P2P system to connect you to lobby from what i have seen in the past.

Vodacom might also classify something as P2P which the average individual might not.

It could also be the VPN they classifying as P2P as you are talking to the VPN and the VPN back to you so maybe they assuming that as P2P

Thx for the reply. No I don't do any gaming at all. Very average user.
