Pace 4 HD PVR stuck in reboot cycle

Last night we had load shedding (thanks Eskom) and when I woke up this morning I found my PVR has gone into a continuous reboot loop, it get's as far as 2==2 in the boot cycle and then shuts down and starts again. I switched it off at the mains and unplugged it for 10 minutes but this hasn't helped.

I can't find any info on the MC forum.

Anybody got any ideas or does this require a visit to MC?

Mine is doing the same thing. Remove the power cable for 30 mins and then turn on again...

Seems like mine needed to cool down and is now working normally...

Mine does the same.
Took it to MC, and it happens there too. They even swapped out decoders, tried different units, sat conns and the works.
Techies are working on it - I left the decoder there and will go back later.

They usually swap out units. Did you specifically ask for yours to be repaired?
