Paediatric Chiropractor

Hello all,

so mixed views around this

anyone take they baby to a chiro and come back with issues ?
Oops... I totally forgot about this thread.. Here is my update on this..

I was very apprehensive about the fact that some stranger could potentially damage my child's spine, but we got to sit right next to the bed watching her every move and could intervene at any point we did not like what we saw.. I was very pleasantly surprised at how gentle she was and all my fear vanished 10 minutes into the session..

We took our son for two sessions with a chiropractor with peadatric speciality.. She was very good with him and I can't begin to describe how gentle she was.. The first session we went for, he fell asleep as we were driving to her rooms.. We left after the session with him still fast asleep and not having woken up once..

She didn't focus on his spine alone and worked throughout his entire body looking for areas of tension and gentle massaging and pushing where she found tension..

She did the same on the second session and while she recommends at least 3 sessions, we stopped after the second.. While we did see a big improvement, we didn't feel it was an improvement enough to justify the third session..

The sessions did not stop the gasiness but, it did help him to better cope with the gas and not have to cry every time he gets bad gas..

All in all I feel it was worth taking my son there.. I imagine that results vary from child to child, since they are not all the same, so I can't say for sure whether it will help anyone else's children..

With that said, have you guys looked at other factors for the gas..? At 3/4 months babies gut are generally matured and should cope fine with gas without crying and fussing..
