Hiya! If anybody wants a Palm Centro for half price (from last month’s price) then hasten to Dion Wired – they’ve got it for this price!

Palm OS - still the best smartphone OS for newbies!!!

I see you got your Centro. Is the special still on and at which branch did you buy it? What are your first impressions of the phone. I also liked the Palm OS but the lack of Java support was no good for me, because I use Opera Mini and the Gmail app a lot.

The best thing for me was Documents to Go. In my opinion, it's the best Office application I've used on a phone.

Documents to Go is available for most platforms now. Blackberry comes with it as standard now. It is much better than quickoffice or pocket office.

Bought it at Dion Wired in Centurion Lifestyle centre - and it was incorrectly priced! Not more - LESS!!!! R999 for a brand new Centre! Load SkinUI and Teal OS on it and you've got a extremely cool smartphone!

You can still get the IBM Java thingie - checkout some Treo websites - linkies in there!

I've set up Versamail to allow me to send stuff from the phone, and use the mobile version of Gmail to read...

Yeah, and its Docs2Go 10 - allowing edits to Office 2007 docs!
