Paradox Alarm Usage/Configuration

This should be a permanent ban.

When I google how to disable a Paradox alarm zone at 3 in the morning because the stupid alarm keeps going off and I come to this page and I see this then it's bloody infuriating.

Then secondly, the people who designed the Paradox alarm systems should take a course on user interface design. I should not have to google anything. I should just be able to ****ing disable a zone.

So if I get this straight, I should download the installer manual to be able to do this? Does anyone have a step by step guide? Bypassing doesn't stick like one would expect to.

I just want to disable zone 17.

The Easiest Way is to follow this guide to edit the zone info.

So in my case for Paradox alarm:

1) Hit enter button and enter installer code
2) Select zone - For example Zone 2 type 002

Take note of the first part of the zone details and keep it for when the zone is fixed as you will need to renter this value:

Mine for example is set to 24-1 Meaning 24 Is the Alarm Zone Type (Instant No Pre Alarm) according to the attached table I have uploaded and 1 is partion one.

To disable the zone enter:

00-1 and hit enter to disable the zone until you have the zone fixed. (00 means disabled as indeicated in the attached table)
