The movie, not the things you get up to when no one is watching.

Friends of mine were going crazy about this movie telling me "its so scary you wont be able to sleep" "its so scary i still cant sleep etc"

Was so happy that there is finally a quality horror movie out not the "snakes on a plane" type of crap.
Just watched it... wow it's boring there is like 10sec or less of scary going on but by that time i was almost asleep. And the characters omw a wooden board would have been a better actor. Nothing ever happens in this movie... :wtf:
Is it just me or is the hype around this film bs :sick:

I agree with you. When she gets dragged out of bed, I laughed. Folks around me were not amused!!!
 
I love horror movies. Been wanting to see a good one, but thought there was too much hype around it. I guess I'll wait for dvd or mnet
 
I too felt it was a let down, all the guys and I mean the guys at work, couldn't stop talking about it and how scary it is...

Watched the thing, all by my lonesome and thought it sucked - big time.

Although I do think the hype around it kinda psyched me up for it, and then, such a let down...
 
you watched it alone on your computer or something didnt you? try watching it with your girlfriend/boyfriend next to you...who you sleep with in the same bed...it alters your reality a bit. i was pretty shook up with this movie i wont lie. it stays in your pshyche for along time. in the back of your head especially when you're lying in bed next to your partner. the part where she gets dragged off the bed and the other part right at the end where she's screaming and then there's silence...wow. i was freaked out i wont lie.
 
Nope DVD, the next night I watched it with my partner who thought the same thing
 
Haven't even heard of it, so I am not sure about any hype :P but then I am somewhat out of the movie loop at the moment.

It's not mainstream, in fact, it wasn't even mainstream in the states either...

Had a great laugh at this movie, was very entertaining. The only part that was freaky when the woman woke up at night, standing for 2 hours in her room doing nothing.

Have to admit i had a beer while watching it so that might have mellowed me out a bit but the standing next to the bed for 2hours thing was so boring! If there was scary sound or grunting or grawling or sumthing maybe... but dead silence... everytime she did that i almost fell asleep.
And whats up with the guy in this movie... wow he's character was a douch and you wanted him to die so badly!

Saw it in the dvd shop and was considering renting it...
Must say its been a while since I've watched a quality horror movie - the last I saw was "the uninvited" (ok more a thriller but anyway) apart from a cool twist at the end, the storyline was quite boring...

Best horror movies on DVD at the moment? Wait I'll start a new thread for this
 
Well watched it last night - even made sure my surround is setup nicely...

A big disappointment, it was...
 
I didn't know anything about this movie when I went to watch it at the cinema. I was expecting to be scared but I ended up almost falling asleep. If you put all the scary parts together its about 5 minutes
 
My problem was that the movie is fake and people tried to convince me otherwise.
I am a huge horror movie fan and tried my best to get into the flick but alas no.
I liked quarantine though, it was the same sort of format.
Ah well i just downloaded an old vhs rip, return of the living dead[1985 george romero classic] and am about to watch it.
I love zombies!
 
Yeah, this movie was pretty boring. Was quite a disappointment.

Also, the DVD has a different ending to the theatrical release.
