Paris 2024 Olympics

Compact Plus is supposed to get full Olympics coverage but yet the Olympics Tennis is on a channel Compact Plus can't access lmao

I didn't want to watch women going "hyaaaaaaa" anyways.

These 2 Chinese female sync divers are insane, they're destroying everyone else.

BBC often gives a krap bandwidth or buffering, wouldn't rely on it too much. (via VPN, don't know with smart dns)

Have been using the free Windscribe VPN allocation for a few years now for streaming iPlayer. On a 50/50 fibre connection with only my Android box connected to internet via ethernet, iPlayer has only ever been watchable with medium quality selected. Even then it buffers and pixellates every 5/10 minutes.

Upgraded to Windscribe paid just for a month, none of the paid UK servers are any better.

Then a few days ago took out a 14 day trial of Getflix, changed my router's DNS settings to use their servers. What used to be a temperamental side-loaded iPlayer app on my Android box now works flawlessly with smart DNS, it opens and connects EVERY time I want to use it, and there is zero buffering or pixellated images.

TLDR - smart DNS trumps a VPN for streaming speed and quality.

Huh? Who doesn't know that?

You apparently, what’s the purpose of adding it to post #1 when users end up somewhere past post #765 when opening the thread?

Quite a stupid idea updating post #1 when no one will see it, yes?

Much easier scrolling to post #1 than trying to find the most recent update in some random post

Stop being injured Dave. Was merely pointing out that the thread OP puts the medals results in post #1, and let us know that. Sure, he doesn't update it all the time..

Quite normal to do that kind of thing.

Nothing stopping you making the extra effort to go to post #1 for outdated info.

Did anyone say you were forced to read what I (or anyone else) posts?

I’m not injured, not by a long chalk. At least now we can have two ways to check the medal table if I remember to keep updating here, Brian.

;)
