Yes, thanks, I should have mentioned that you need eclipse glasses or two or three layers of thin foil from tea-bag packaging, which is what I'm doing. If using the teabag foil just look at it for a few seconds at a time

I've posted some pictures I took through my 3.5" Refractor over here. Conditions were extremely bad, but they turned out decent enough.

I have to clarify that I did take all reasonable precautions. It was meant as a joke. The telescope in question was fitted with a solar filter no aside from my paranoia there shouldn't be any chance of eye damage at all.

Just remember to keep cap on sightfinder when doing solar sightings.

I forgot, the one time, and burned the inlaid crosshairs right out. :D
