We are the consumers. We are the users of these systems. If we experience problems with them then we must help with the solutions.
We are the tax -payers. We pay the salaries of those whose job it is to run the country and its infrastructure.
If I experience problems in my job I never see the government/ local administration dropping by to see if they can help. Why - cos it's not their job.
It's not my job to solve the power crisis - people get paid bonuses of millions to do this for me.
It's not my job to solve the traffic disaster - ditto as above.

I don't know or care what colour person is paid to manage the transport system - I just want them to do their job, not take the cash and tell me to fix it.
Accusations of racism because taxpayers are getting shafted is an insult.
