So I did that and this is the result of the copy/paste:

All I wanted was the html in the cell but as usual, the MS product tried to be clever. I am a little impressed tho.

Copy and paste html to notepad. Select cells in excel, right click, format, change cell formatting to "text"
Copy html from notepad, paste into cells that you set as text.

A simple value past should work too in theory (ALT-E-S-T-V)
