Pastel Partner 2007 - I need Pervasive SQL V10

Does anyone here have Pastel Partner 2007 or any other version later than 2007?

Basically, I've got someone that is trying to set this up with Vista.

The problem I see at the moment is that Pervasive SQL V8 isn't compatible with Vista, so I need either Version 9 or preferably 10.

Do you think if the Pervasive is correct for Vista the program should work (which is my deduction on the issue).

If anyone has a recent version of Partner, I would indebted if you could upload the Pervasive Full Setup file/files for me somewhere to download (mediafire.com for instance).

I would be indebted to you.

It's a schlepp trying to get the Pervasive Full Version as the Pervasive.com site only contains the trial versions.

I know someone who has a recent version of Pervasive SQL, but I will only be able to get it on Monday, so if anyone is willing to upload V10 for me sooner, just drop me a pm, otherwise I'm sorted for next week.

I have installed Partner 2007 on a few Vista laptops, with and without service pack 1. From info from the Pastel webs site, all I needed to do was disable Vista's UAC, which then made Partner work fine. I know it's not the best option, since UAC can prevent a lot of nasties, but apart from upgrading Pervasive, it's the only option.

If I'm not mistaken, soon Pastel will release new versions of Partner and Payroll that will have a huge sticker on the box that screams "Vista Compatible!" Why the heck they didn't do this with the 2007 version is beyond me. They knew Vista was coming but they didn't appear to do anything about it.

Thank you Asha'man, I appreciate the reply. Will see if UAC is enabled (I haven't been with the pc in question).

Edit: Thanks again for the help. Told them to disable UAC and voila, it works. I appreciate it!
