I cant wait! So looking forward to some of the changes. Especially the arena changes.

How is Orgrimmar going to work? Are we kicked out of it? Do we get to randomly kill orcs? :D

Just finished the patch download - 886mg :erm:

Realms should be up and running at 10 after the weekly maintenance (removing dead bodies off your screen :D)

Should be better I hope, than the grind fest for rep in the past

The video has got me pumped. What server do you play on? I'm on EU - Eonar
 
Also EU - Alonsus (graveyard) and Silvermoon
 
Im on Outland. For the horde!

Its pretty cool cause we are outnumbered about 10 to 1 by alliance. Which makes ganking very rewarding. There is always someone to gank :D

I also have my original main on Scarshield Legion (alliance mage). Im hoping these realm merges will mean that Scarshield legion is no longer a ghost town. I spent an hour there the other day. Didnt see anyone in Stormwind.

Outland is the opposite of SL. Its overpopulated.
 
Same with Alonsus - as a healer waiting time for ToT/dung is like 45 min

Silvermoon waiting time is under 1 minute - if you get to log in due to server being full :(

Realms is now unavailable till approx 12
 
Looking forward to it. The possibility of the new raid with cross realm friends are quite nice! And that it slots in with gear slightly better than LFR could be a nice new challenge. For those that have not read about it yet, it seems that there are a new raid difficulty that would scale according to number of people 12-25 in the raid. Thus one can actually raid with a core team and have additional people join when they are available (even friends from other servers).
Can basically have a South African raid group formed with cross realm people...
 
Silvermoon... that server cost me close to R1000.

I had just finished levelling a Mistweaver monk and a friend asked me to come over to Alliance and Silvermoon to play with them. So I did. I spent R500 on a faction change and transfer. The PvP was just as bad as I remembered it and grinding pvp was near impossible. I just couldnt handle the bad players. After a month I only had half the pvp kit you buy with honor points. So I paid to go back to Outland (Horde) and within 2 weeks I had almost full Tryanical pvp set.

Yea there is a lot of kids on Silvermoon to be expected I think ;)

I dont PvP so I dont know about the issues - to old for that :cry:

How are you too old for pvp`ing? Im in my 30`s and love pvp. Raiding became too boring so after years of just being PVE I moved onto PVP. Every now and again I do raids with friends, but its pretty much the same thing

I believe Ogrimmar is phased for level 90 Players.

I might come back for this patch.. still thinking about it.
Unsubbed in June cos of how dead my realm is (EU Dentarg alliance) got to the point where there were maybe 25 lvl 90's online at peak times.. :(
I really can't be bothered to level all over again and not prepared to hop around paying the ridiculous realm transfer fee.

However they've now added cross realm arenas and arenas are basically what I really love about WoW .. soo theres hope for me yet. :p
