The countdown has begun.

1 day and ~22 hours left. Path of exile has been in open beta for nearly a year, but will soon be leaving beta and going gold. A ton of new content will be added along with the release. Posting here because I love this game and have been playing it a lot recently. Not sure if there's an existing thread, but the full release deserves its own thread.

Look forward to trying it - Stopped playing a couple months ago, so the release would have lots of new stuff for me.

I desperately need something to tide me over until the D3 expansion, hehe.
 
I wonder how the coop aspect will work. Pondering the idea of a MyBB group (like we did for D3). If it wouldn't work the same way then I guess there's no point...

It's going to be better off the bat, as there appear to be guilds, and the party limit is 6!

I am going to play in the 4 month domination league to start with. Sounds like a fun fresh slate.
 
hmmm sounds like a good option. I thoroughly enjoyed the BETA...

There was another actiion RPG on the horizon but I cant remember its bloody name now :mad:

I always forget :(

Well, it's free, which is why you cannot buy it, and I presume you cannot preload as they are still working on the game release.
 
Unfortunately I am house/dogsitting for my mother while she is in Italy on holiday. She lives in a farmland area where the internet is abysmal, even by SA standards it would be terrible, and this is the UK. Speedtest.net reported it at 60Kbs DL and 20Kbs upload..... So I cannot update my game when it releases :( .
Wouldn't even be able to play really either. That internet speed is not sufficient to send network packets for games, Can't play D3, PoE, LoL or anything with a network connection.

Sad that I can't play as this releases, but in 1.5 weeks I will be back home with my 50mb line and feel like I am in the first world again. Feeling sorry for myself right now..... First world problems and whatnot.

Yep, one of the things that make this game so damn good and versatile. The replayability is seriously high as you try out new builds. Although that tree is looking even bigger than I remember, Must be the new class they are adding.

I seriously respect the developers of this game, especially considering that they started out so small and involve their community as much as they do. I hope that they don't lose that as they expand.
